What electric standby means for you
Electric standby lets the refrigeration unit run from shore power instead of the engine. Plug in overnight or while you are parked at a venue, and the box holds temperature without idling the truck.
In practice that means you can load the night before, keep product cold during a long setup, and avoid running a diesel engine where idling is restricted.
